Who else is there?

My name is Manon Labrosse, and I am a visual artist. Originally from Northern Ontario, I have lived in the Outouais region since 1998.

The Cottage creative hub is a unique residency program with nothing like it in the Outaouais region. It offers creative people a place work and sleep, to start new projects, or elaborate on old ones, but more importantly, a quiet studio out in the country, close enough to the city that you'll never feel isolated or too far away.  Our goal is to provide a respectful environment for visual artists, writers, researchers and even students needing that quiet time to write that final paper.

And also...

This is John. Here he is riding one of our beach cruiser bikes, which you will have access to on those nice hot summer days, or on a warm spring afternoon.  John is my husband first, but he's also our maintenance guy, you know, the guy who does everything! John did all the renovations on the interior of The Cottage, and helps maintain the landscaping and all that stuff that comes with owning a house or property. I really like him, I'm sure you will too.

This is Mason. Mason is a 14 year old black lab and coonhound mix.  Mason is a very friendly (overely? is there such a thing?) playful dog who will be your best friend if you throw his stuffed ikea ball around a couple of times outside. Mason only hangs out on the main floor.
